Diagnostic nasal endoscopy

This procedure is designed to examine the nose and nasopharynx (back end of the nose) using an endoscope. Endoscopes provide a magnified view of structures in the nose.This procedure is useful in assessment of nasal bleeding, nasal block, headache and loss of smell.


Otomicroscopy

This procedure involves examination of the ear under a surgical microscope. Like an endoscope, microscope provides a magnified view and helps in detailed evaluation of the external ear canal and ear drum (Tympanic membrane). It is useful in diagnosis and management of persistent ear discharge and ear ache.

Otoendoscopy

Similar to Otomicroscopy, this procedure is used for evaluation of external ear canal and ear drum using an endoscope. It is useful in diagnosis and management of persistent ear discharge and ear ache.






Diagnostic laryngoscopy

Larynx (voice box) is evaluated with the help of either a rigid endoscope or flexible fibreoptic endscope. It provides magnified view of larynx. It is useful in assessment of hoarseness, throat pain and bleeding from throat

Video nystagmography

This battery of tests is useful in the evaluation of dizziness
